Like the architectural design, the acoustic design of civic and community projects can be tailored to suit the cultural preferences and regional requirements that are unique to each project. A public square can be acoustically welcoming while a stadium can be acoustically exciting and engaging. A public library might share a collection of spaces which are quite and intimate for private study and dynamic and inviting for multimedia hubs and collaborative work.
