Maggie Zhang

Maggie completed a conjoint Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering (Hons) and Bachelor of Science and began working as an acoustic consultant in 2020. She is currently working in areas of environmental noise and building acoustics, ranging from large public infrastructure to residential buildings. Notable ongoing projects include City Rail Link, Auckland Airport Terminal Enabling Works and Kāinga Ora housing developments.

Maggie became interested in the field of acoustics through her passion for choral singing. She has sung in the Auckland Youth Choir and the New Zealand Youth Choir, and has toured both domestically in New Zealand as well as internationally. She holds an Associate of Trinity College London (ATCL) diploma in singing.
