Edward Chan is a consultant based in the Hong Kong office, specialising in architectural acoustics and building services noise control. He has been working in the field of acoustics since 2014, starting as Graduate Engineer in Wilson Acoustics Ltd. Before joining Marshall Day Acoustics in 2018, he has also worked in Ove Arup & Partners Hong Kong Ltd and ihD Ltd and completed acoustic certificate courses in the The Hong Kong Institute of Acoustics.
Edward has extensive experience in the building acoustics design, such as hotel, commercial development, residential building, and museum. He is also experienced in acoustic measurement and testing and commissioning works. His previous architectural acoustics design projects include but not limited to Hong Kong Palace Museum, Galaxy Phase 3 casino in Macau and a wide range of luxury hotels such as Westin, Mandarin Oriental, Marriott, Hilton, The Luxury Collection, Hyatt and Sheraton across Hong Kong, China, Malaysia, Vietnam and Sri Lanka. He is currently working on the acoustic design for performing art projects in Asia.
