Neil Huybregts is an Associate with the Melbourne office specialising in environmental noise assessment and control. He is one of Australia's leading experts in community noise impact assessment, having experience in basic research, policy development, noise impact assessment, risk analysis and noise control design. He has provided expert evidence to planning panels, tribunals and in court. He has a strong background in modelling with a particular emphasis on comparing measured and modelled noise estimates to improve modelling accuracy.
Neil has also participated in environmental noise policy development for EPA Victoria, the Victorian Department of Infrastructure, the Docklands Authority, the Tasmanian and South Australian governments and VicRoads. He has extensive knowledge of environmental noise prediction models, having undertaken detailed evaluations for VicRoads and Austroads.
